And yet: Waste bat­ter­ies rep­re­sent an oppor­tu­ni­ty, man­u­fac­tur­ers need access to strate­gic ele­ments and crit­i­cal mate­ri­als for key com­po­nents in the pro­duc­tion of elec­tric vehi­cles: Recy­cled lithi­um-ion bat­ter­ies are a valu­able source of mate­ri­als. — REELEMENTS gen­er­ates them and rein­tro­duces them back into circulation.
